The company was founded in 2011, by three friends, Meddy, Ronald and Dauda having served in the industry for a combined 20 years, with dreams of self-employment and operating a fully fledged business entity offering premium tour packages at very competitive rates..
With over thirteen years’ experience in the tourism and travel industry as a freelance guide and driver, Ssempebwa Ronald obtained his in-field training from the different companies for which he served their clients beyond their expectations. Having tourism and travel as his number one hobby, he manages to go beyond the itineraries and fixed extra activities that get his clients impressed.
In so doing, Ssempebwa Ronald together with his colleague, Ssebbowa Dauda, another experienced tour guide considered retirement with their own company as the only way and chance they to serve the industry better. Here they would be able to make better decisions that they feel can be most helpful and appropriate for their clients.
The selection of the name was based on the fact that the “Kikuya”( meaning a chimpanzee) is 96% close to the human race, this makes it one of the most intelligent and amazing primate on planet earth. The love for nature got Ronald together with Dauda in love with different animals, birds and plants together with sceneries, in different national parks. This helped them acquire knowledge about almost everything in their surrounding them in a short period of time.
