Itineraries:
Day 1: Travel to the Kidepo valley national park with a stop at Zziwa Rhinos
You will be picked up from your place of stay in Kampala after breakfast and we will begin the journey to Kidepo valley national park. We will have a stop at Zziwa Rhinos for a fun Rhino tracking adventure. After lunch, we continue to the park. Upon arrival, we will check into our booked safari lodge.

Day 2: Cultural encounter with the Ik people- evening game drive
After an early morning breakfast. We set out for a hike to Mount Morungule that will bring us to the homesteads of the Ik People While with this unique tribe, we will learn of their way of life, their traditions and culture as well as get to enjoy the scenic views from atop Morungule Mountain.

Day 3: Transfer to Murchison falls- evening game drive.
We check out of the safari lodge after breakfast and drive to Murchison falls. Along the way we will have a stop for lunch and embark on our journey to Murchison falls. Upon arrival, we check into our booked safari lodge and set out for an evening game drive.

Day 4 – Morning boat cruise- hike to top of the falls- Transfer to Hoima
After breakfast, we drive straight to the Nile bank where we will get on board a boat for a cruise on Victoria Nile that will allow us an opportunity to view the aquatic wildlife as well as an excellent view of Murchison falls devil’s cauldron. We begin the scenic hike to the top of the falls while we listen to tales of old from the guide about this historic park. Once at the top we will get an opportunity for pictures and drive on out of the park to Hoima for the night.

Day 5: Journey to Kibale – Fort portal
Fort Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled “Mountains of the Moon.” Upon arrival, we will check into our booked accommodation. After a short briefing into the activity; we set out into the dense forest of Kibale for an encounter with our closest relatives. We return to the lodge for an evening of relaxation.

Day 6 – Explore the Sempaya hot springs
After breakfast, we will set out for a primate walk in Bigodi swamp. Along the way we will get a cultural encounter with the local people and their way of life. From the Nature walk in Bigodi we return for lunch and after drive to semuliki. A walk on the trail will lead you to the bubbly Sempaya hot springs. We will get to carry out a few experiments like a boiling an egg or even sweet potato. We return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 7 – Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi swamp walk
We wake up ready to explore the beautiful Kibale forest in search of man’s closest relative. After breakfast, we set out to the park briefing point where we will get all the necessary information to best prepare us for our time with our closest relatives. Once we meet these beautiful creatures we will be given some time with them to take pictures, observe them and ask our Guides different questions that will enable us learn a lot more about the chimps and their home in this dense forest. Return to the lodge and get a few minutes of relaxation before you set out to Bigodi swamp for a refreshing evening nature walk.

Day 8: A day of rest on the foothills of Mountain Rwenzori
Today we transfer to the foothills of Mountain Rwenzori for a day of rest and if you up to it, you can very well decide to take a nature walk through the park and explore a little bit of the snowcapped Mountains of the Moon!

Day 9: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth – afternoon boat cruise
After breakfast we will check out of the safari lodge, exiting the park to Queen Elizabeth national park. Upon arrival we check into our booked accommodation and after lunch, we set out for a thrilling boat cruise on the Kazinga channel an opportunity to view amazing wildlife and more especially birds.

Day 10: Explore Crater lakes
After breakfast, we will dive into a full day of exploring the scenic crater lakes of Queen Elizabeth. We will venture out to spot one Crater lake after another and enjoying a picturesque moment at each spot.

Day 11: Transfer to Bwindi through Ishasha
In the morning after breakfast and checking out of your safari lodge, we will transfer with our packed lunch to Bwindi and we may along the way take advantage of the Ishasha sector that gives us opportunity of viewing the rare tree climbing lions. If lucky, we will get to spot a few before we exit for Bwindi. Upon your arrival, check into the safari lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Gorilla trekking
Set out for briefing at the park offices after your breakfast. You will be allocated gorilla tracking groups and given tips to prepare you for what to expect while on a close encounter with the gentle giants. Return from the deep forest to receive your gorilla tracking certificate. Return to the lodge for an evening of relaxation.

Day 13: Transfer to Kisoro- Rest
After breakfast, we check out of the safari lodge and begin the journey to Kisoro town. We will pass through such beautiful scenic views ideal for pictures at one point with the back drop of the volcanoes Mountains. Upon arrival at our booked accommodation we check into our booked safari lodge for an evening of rest.

Day 14: Batwa Trail in Mgahinga National Park
Today you will have a first-hand introduction to one of the most unique cultures in the world. Overlooking the imposing hillsides of Bwindi Impenetrable forest, with the mist swirling over the summits, this is one of the most dramatic settings for your cultural tour! Batwa Trail in Mgahinga Gorilla Park allows you to experience the ways of the ancient Batwa pygmies who once lived in the Ituri forest of Congo. This experience will give you the opportunity to learn more about their old culture while you enjoy a hike with the Batwa guides as you hear so many wonderful tales of this special group of people. You will have the opportunity to learn of their way of life with various activities like checking hives for wild honey, repair a Batwa shelter, harvest medicinal plants, light a fire with wood and the thrilling of them all is the Garama caves. We return to the lodge for lunch and later set out on a scenic cycling tour around the hills of Kisoro

Day 15 - Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi- rest
After breakfast, we check out of the safari lodge and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, the second deepest lake in Uganda is a spectacular place in the south of Uganda, surrounded terraced hillsides. We will arrive to our lodge in perfect time for lunch and spend the rest of the day relaxing and giving our bodies some time to recover from the hard adventures of the previous day.

Day 16 - Transfer to Kitwe town, Nshenyi cultural village
After breakfast, we will be transferred to Nshenyi cultural village, a gateway into the Ankole culture. The village is nestled in the rolling hills of the Ankole Kingdom. An experiential visit of local farms. You will get to make few traditional dishes and learn how to make ghee, milk a cow etc. In the evening we wind up the day with traditional dances and songs under the magical star filled sky with the crackles of fire bringing warmth to the cool evening.

Day 17: Lake Mburo- evening nature walk
We will get to sleep in today and get to enjoy the beauty that surrounds us before we embark on a journey to Lake Mburo. After lunch we journey on to Lake Mburo. Upon arrival we check into our booked lodge. Set out to the briefing point and wind the day in a thrilling scenic nature walk that will bring us upclose to the various wildlife, birds and plant species.

Day 18: Journey back to Kampala- Ndere troupe cultural dance
After breakfast, we check out of the safari lodge and begin our journey back to Kampala with a stop at the Uganda Equator. Upon arrival, we check into our hotel to freshen up before we set out to the Ndere cultural center for a cultural performance that will be the icing on top of our cultural-scenic Ugandan adventure.

Day 19: Airport drop off
Depending on what time your flight is we may get to explore some of Kampala city and visit places like the King’s palace and burial grounds and prominent historical grounds or we may explore the beautiful Botanical gardens in Entebbe.
