The 21 days trip in Uganda will make you explore all the 10 national parks in Uganda. You will visit Mabamba bay, Itanda falls, The Source of the Nile, Sipi falls, Karamojong experience, Kidepo Valley National park, Murchison falls National park where there is the four of the big five, Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Semiliki National park, Kabale National Park, Queen Elizabeth National park, Bwindi Impenetrable National park, Mgahinga National park, Lake Bunyonyi National park, Lake Mburo National park and also beautiful sceneries along the way.
Arrival at Entebbe airport, your diver guide will pick you up, welcome you to Uganda, the pearl of Africa and head to Airport Link Guest house, check in and relax. Dinner and overnight at the guest house.
Mabamba swamp is located west of Entebbe on the northern shore of Lake Victoria. It has over 300 species of birds. Birding in Mabamba is done from a motorized wooden boat by riding through a maze of trails cutting through the think marshes. Different species of birds at Mabamba swamp include, Shoe bill and this is the most popular in the area, Africa fish eagle, Africa pigmy goose, grey heron, black headed heron and so many others. After Mabamba, your diver guide will take you back to Airport link guest house for your lunch, dinner and overnight.
In the morning after breakfast, your diver will pick you up from the guest house to Jinja. Along the way you will have a stopover at Mabira forest. This is the biggest tropical rain forest in central Uganda with beautiful green vegetation. You will have a guided nature walk, zip-lining and after head to Itanda falls in Jinja. Itanda falls are falls along River Nile, the longest river in the world. The falls have three levels of rapids and they go to grade 1 to 6 which you should be mindful in case you’re going to do white water rafting. After Itanda falls, we go back to Jinja town for lunch. Afternoon we head to the Source of the Nile where the longest river begins from. We shall have a boat ride for about 1 to 2 hours depending on the available time to the exact spot where the Nile water starts to flow and also take photos. In the evening, we head to Black lantern for diner and overnight.
After breakfast in the morning, you will drive to Kapchorwa and head to Sipi falls. Sipi falls is a series of three water falls in the Northeast of Sironko and Mbale. The falls lie on the edge of Mount Elgon National park. You will have a guide to walk you to the base of the falls, get bathed in the misty spray created by the falls or dip in the cool waters if you don’t mind. After we go to Sipi falls resort for relaxing, diner and overnight.
In the morning after breakfast, you will hike up to Mt. Elgon seeing different beautiful vegetation on the slope of Mt. Elgon, then walk to the base and relax. After the hike, you have lunch. In the afternoon, you go for a coffee community walk. Later go back to the hotel for overnight and dinner.
After breakfast in the morning, you will head to Kotido district. Here we shall visit Nakapelimoru village, the largest traditional village in East Africa and home to the Jie clan of the Karamoja. You will have to climb nearby rock formation for an introduction about the village from above. After the guide will take you the home stand to learn more of the Karamoja culture. You will proceed to Kidepo Valley National park, check in Kidepo Valley Safari lodge. Dinner and over night at the lodge.
Early in the morning, you will go for a game drive to have a chance of seeing a number of animals like buffaloes, elephants, lions, hartebeests, and klipspringer. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for breakfast, relax and have lunch. In the evening, you will go for a simple drive to stand an opportunity to view beautiful sceneries of River Narus. Diner and over night at Kidepo Valley Safari lodge.
In the morning after breakfast, you will have another game drive to see a number of fauna and flora in the semi-arid section of the park where there is the hot springs and the majestic Ostriches. After the game drive, you go back to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will have your guide take you for another cultural walk to experience more of the Karimajong culture. After return to the lodge for diner and overnight.
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and head to Murchison Falls National Park. You will have a stopover in Gulu town for lunch at Gulu Church Court hotel. After lunch, you will proceed to Murchison falls National Park; check in at Heritage safari lodge, diner and overnight at the lodge.
Early in the morning at 6am, you will have your breakfast and head for a game drive. Here you will see different wild animals like antelopes, buffaloes, lions, elephants, giraffes and many others. Then you will return to the lodge to relax and have lunch. In the afternoon, you will go for a boat ride to the bottom of the falls which takes about three hours. You can also take photos of different animals in the river, like crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes and elephants drinking at the edge of the River Nile and also different species of birds. You will then hike to the top of the falls where your diver will be waiting to take you back to the lodge.
You will depart from Murchison falls National Park after breakfast and head to Fort Portal for almost 8 hours. You will have your lunch in Fort Portal city and then proceed to Semliki National Park in Bundibugyo district. On arrival, you will go to the male and female hot springs. The female hot springs have a boiling fountain at over 100degrees. You can cook eggs and plantations in the boiling water and then consume them. In the evening you go to Semliki guesthouse. Diner and over night at the overnight.
In the morning after breakfast, you leave Semliki for Kibale National park. On arrival, you will check in at Kibale forest camp, have lunch and then relax. Diner and overnight at the camp.
Early in the morning at 6am, you will have your breakfast and head for a game drive. Here you will see different wild animals like antelopes, buffaloes, lions, elephants, giraffes and many others. You will have breakfast early in the morning and then go for chimpanzee trekking. Before you start the trekking, you will have a simple briefing before you encounter the chimpanzees in their natural habitats in Kibale forest. There other wildlife in the forest which include monkeys, elephants and different bird species. The trekking lasts for 2 to 5 hours. After the trekking, you will go back to the camp for your lunch. In the afternoon, you will have a guided nature walk in Bigodi sanctuary where you will encounter botanical species of plants, primates, mammals, birds and butterflies. Later in the evening, you will for go back to the lodge for dinner.
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will check out of Kibale forest camp and depart to Queen Elizabeth national park, the only park with tree climbing lions. You will have lunch at Topi Safari lodge. In the evening, you will have an evening game drive where you will spot some of the lions, elephants, Uganda’s Kob, buffaloes and different bird species. After the game drive, you will head back to your accommodation for diner and overnight.
After breakfast in the morning, you will have a game drive. Here you will get a chance to see more animals including the leopard, hyenas, warthogs, bushbucks, waterbucks, lions, topi, elephants, large families of banded mongoose and buffaloes. There are also bird species like grey headed kingfisher, African mourning dove, swamp flycatcher, pin-tailed whydah and many others. You will have lunch at the lodge after the game drive. In the afternoon, you will have a boat ride on the Kazinga channel for a fantastic game and bird viewing experience. The boat ride takes between 2 to 3 hours and you will take photos of different animals like the Hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and elephants taking water and birds. Later in the evening, you will back to the lodge and relax.
You will have breakfast in the morning and then check out from your accommodation. Your driver will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable national park, a home of the largest population of the remaining endangered mountain gorillas in the world. On arrival, you will check in Rushaga gorilla camp for the overnight.
In the morning after breakfast, you will pack some water and snacks and then go to the headquarters to be briefed about gorilla trekking. You will enter into the forest in search for the gorillas. The trekking will last for about 2 to 8 hours depending on how long it will take you to trace the gorillas. After the trekking, you will go back to the lodge relax and have dinner.
After breakfast in the morning, you will check out of the lodge and head to Mgahinga national park. This is the smallest park in Uganda. You will check in at Mount Mgahinga hotel and have lunch then relax. Later, your driver guide will take you to see the golden monkeys and also trek gorillas and because of that, Mgahinga national park is termed as a place where gold meets silver.
You will be served breakfast and then transferred to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale district. On arrival, you will be served lunch, check in at the lodge and relax. After lunch, you will go for a canoe ride to explore the 29 islands on Lake Bunyonyi. In the evening, you will have a nature walk along the shores of Lake Bunyonyi. Diner and over night at Bunyonyi Eco Resort.
In the morning, you will be served breakfast. After breakfast, your driver will take you to Lake Mburo National park. You will have a stopover at Igongo cultural center for lunch. After lunch, you will continue to the park, check in at your lodge for diner and overnight.
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will go for a game drive to see different animals in the park like zebras, giraffes, buffalos, Impalas, elands and different birds. You will have lunch at the lodge and after lunch, you will go for a boat ride on Lake Mburo to see the hippos, crocodiles, buffalos drinking water from the shores of the lake. Diner and overnight at Eagles nest.
You will have breakfast in the morning and then check out of the accommodation to head to Kampala. You will have a stopover at the Equator for photos and also buy some souvenirs. Lunch will be at the Equator and after lunch you proceed to the airport.
